Virginia’s experience includes 32 years in New Jersey public education as both a special education teacher for grades kindergarten through sixth grade and a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant on the Child Study Team. Since retiring in 2022, she has been tutoring, performing learning assessments, and supervising student teachers for Rowan University. As a tutor for Rizza Miro & Associates, she specializes in diagnosing and remediating reading issues for students from kindergarten through grade six. She also tutors students in math and writing.
